The I-485 Form, officially known as the Application to Register Permanent Residence, is a United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) form used to apply for Lawful Permanent Residence (also known as holding a green card).

This form is used for application to become a lawful permanent resident in the United States and you will have to submit this upon completion with it’s required supporting documents such as Form I-130, Form I-693, Form I-864, etc. to USCIS office.
